It is the branch and the evolution of the reconstructive surgery

Our teachers were taking in charge the soldiers wounded or burnt since the first world war which was the real beginning of plastic surgery

We begin by general surgery ,then through reconstructive surgery  as the olders (burns trauma,congenital malformations ,cancerologie...)

Then progressively we take care of no wounded people but who were not in adequation with their body or their face

Of course aesthetic surgery exist since a long time (india,egypt,lifting one centhury ago,rhinoplasty idem in europa)

But the progress increased since the second world war with institutions and schools who guarrantee our formation

theaesthetic surgery is nowadays very safe and performant ,if you are operated by a real plastic and esthetic surgeon
